COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Introduction
It is widely believed that partnerships between a hospital and its community are necessary to
build and sustain health. Through hospital community outreach programs the infrastructure is
created to bring about changes needed to attain improved health and well being for the
community. Out reach programs build hospital community collaboration leading to a development
of a shared vision of health.
Out reach programs focus on three themes:

Prevention of disease and injury
- Improving access and quality of care
- Reduction of healthcare disparities
- Removing barriers to care is the primary focus of all out reach programs.
Narayana Hrudayalaya being a super specialty hospital, out reach programs play an important role in fostering community care network & intends to reach out to the unreachable & unaffordable. Narayana Hrudayalaya considers a variety of programs under its out reach umbrella:
