Khasif Hussain is 25 year old Pakistani national with  transposition of great arteries, ventricular septal defect, pulmonary stenosis, and Dextrocardia – a condition where the heart is on the right side of the chest and so are the great arteries.
He had mild difficulty in breathing while he was playing during childhood that led him to the hospital in Pakistan where the condition was diagnosed. But unfortunately he was told to get it operated in India which his family could not afford. He had to wait for 15 long years before he could get the definitive surgery done at Narayana Hrudayalaya, a haven for such complicated surgery. His brother, parents are extremely happy at the services they were offered at Narayana which they treasured as desparate parents.

He was operated on 8th April 2006 “ Senning + Rastelli operation. (double switch)” with uneventful postoperative period.

“We feel relieved and happy to be here, they offered us kind care and it feels like home”
