About NHRC
Narayana Hrudayalaya Research Center (NHRC) is located in the Narayana Health City campus, in South Bangalore on the way to Hosur, Tamil Nadu. We are a quality Site Maintenance Organization (SMO) that coordinates with research physicians who are not only experienced with the code of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices, but are also well accomplished in conducting clinical research protocols while meeting sponsor goals and timelines.

We work with certified, well-established physician groups who specialize in a large assortment of medical areas. This gives us the diversity to conduct studies in a wide variety of medical disciplines. Working with NHRC gives physicians the ability to effectively conduct and oversee study tasks while maintaining their own clinical and hospital practices. As a Site Management Organization, we ensure compliance and handle all of the regulatory documentation required by sponsors and institutional review boards.

We make sure that our staffs are well trained on all GCP guidelines and DCGI regulations. Many of our research coordinators are certified or are working to become certified. We have nurses and staff who can assist with hospital-based protocols that require hospital privileges. NHRC is a sister organization of the Narayana Group of Hospitals , having access to over 5000 beds in various hospitals in all fields of medicine and surgery. It is expected to have nearly 20,000 beds in all specialties of medicine, under the Narayana Group of Hospitals in the next 2 years. NHRC prides itself on having highly qualified coordinators who know the policies and procedures for conducting research protocols properly and ethically.

NHRC prides itself on being technologically advanced by maintaining an electronic database that stores all patient records, and tracks patient study involvement as well as enrollments in all studies. We are capable of electronic data capture and transmission through any medium required, having extra phone lines dedicated solely to data transmission and internet connections for high-speed web-based data transfer.

Speed and precision in all aspects of conducting clinical protocols, from start up to completion, are what make NHRC a leading research center in Bangalore. We welcome the chance to discuss our capabilities with sponsors and CROs as well as the opportunity to be considered for new studies. We also look forward to long-term partnerships with CROs and pharma majors.

NHRC has access to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) constituted at Narayana Hrudayalaya for furthering medical research activities. Periodically the IRB meets to discuss and debate the scientific merit of clinical trials being initiated by NHRC. All clinical trial protocols that are cleared by the IRB are presented to the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) constituted as per ICH-GCP guidelines . Clinical trials that are cleared by the IEC are then initiated according to timelines of the sponsor. |
