Narayana Hrudayalaya Charitable Wing
Narayana Hrudayalaya – literally means “Place of God’s Heart”. The journey started with the vision to provide healthcare to all, irrespective of their paying capacity. Towards this endeavor we set up the Narayana Hrudayalaya Charitable wing in the year 2000.
This wing works tirelessly under the leadership and guidance of Mrs.Lakshmi Mani to ensure that no patient is denied access to quality healthcare.
The main activities of the charitable wing are:
- In emergency cases, to make up the short fall of the concessional package or to arrange the entire cost in certain cases for surgery.
- Prepare the documentation and other formalities to apply to Chief Minister’s relief Fund / Prime Minister’s relief Fund and other trusts.
The wing and its activities are supported by a strong network of valuable donors and philanthropists.
To facilitate this activity a trust named ‘Narayana Hrudayalaya Charitable Trust’ is constituted under the chairmanship of Dr. Devi Shetty. This trust has the Income Tax 80G Exemption for the donors.
The donation collected by this Trust is completely utilized for the treatment of the needy patients. Innumerable patients have benefited by the activity of this department. Most of these patients come to Narayana Hrudayalaya without any finances and when they get the financial help and get their dear ones operated with a new life, their joy goes beyond any limit.
