Family Medicine Department is dedicated to providing continuing and comprehensive healthcare to the individual and family across all ages,genders and diseases taking into consideration the unique personal, psychosocial, family and cultural requirements.Health promotion and disease prevention are integral components of the practice of Family Medicine.
The department will also have telemedicine services in order to be more accessible to the local community and to the people in rural and remote areas who are in dire need of medical advice and care.
It is a small world, both domestic and international have become the way of life, hence the Department of Family Medicine will also provide Travel Medicine otherwise called Emporiatrics services to the community.
